Note: This bowl is a discontinued shape and pattern. It is an incredibly rare find and an early example of Jacek Chyla's work. I never seen anything quite like it. He painted this piece and hand-signed it. There were a number of patterns designated as Unikat 3 (which this one is) but I don't know how long they produced it or what the final pattern number became. This piece also has crazing on the bottom. It is perfectly fine to serve both hot and cold food but I would not use it in the oven. 

This piece is part of a large inventory collection that has been in storage for almost 20 years. They are all new pieces, ordered at the time by a direct distributor for the Ceramika Artystyczna factory. Many of these pieces are patterns and or shapes that are no longer in production. When they are gone, they are gone. They cannot be ordered again. Remember that the paints used then were different than they are today. It's not uncommon to see minor pits (like tiny pinpricks), minor smudges, or other minor marks and it's also not unusual for the piece to have lost its sticker.
